Halfway through May
Wednesday 17th May
So, I am already halfway through my Mental Health Challenge for the month of May and what a ride it has been.
I took on this challenge this month after being affected by circumstances in my life which means I had to get the toolbox out – get back to basics and do what I need to do to stay balanced. Exercise has been a major component of helping me through each challenge.
My journey since 2015 has been incredible ever since I decided to choose a different direction – one that would allow me to connect and that came in the form of counselling, support groups and people just listening. I gained perspective, insight, and the ability to manage and be ok when times were tough. I am incredibly grateful to all the people and organisations that supported me and continue to support me.
Today
I just want to give back and support the services that are supporting people
who need help - organisations that teach you how to build that toolbox of
resources.
