For Sean Wilson

Help me make it meaningful

Mental illness doesn’t discriminate – it affects 1 in 5 Australians every year with symptoms like depression and anxiety. The impact can be devastating, not only for those living with it, but for those around them.

That’s why I’m raising funds for the Black Dog Institute, in honor of Sean Wilson, Holly's dear brother who lost his long battle with mental health, to support crucial mental health research and support services that help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.

Men's Mental health matters.

Help me create a meaningful moment for mental health, all for a great cause.

Please donate now. Thank you.

Goals

Wednesday 18th Feb
We aim to show our coworker that we sympathise with her pain and loss and we support the cause of finding help for men to speak out.

Any amount, if possible, will make a difference.

It’s not just for her, it’s for mental health. It’s important to show everyone, man or woman, that they’re not alone.

Life is hard, sometimes overwhelming. It’s okay to feel lost. Some men are brought up thinking they have to be strong and that speaking out and being vulnerable is not something they should do. BUT IT IS.

SPEAK UP AND WE WILL LISTEN. Don’t let the negative thoughts take over

For Sean

Friday 6th Feb
This is a fund raiser for men’s mental health.
My co worker’s brother recently lost his battle with mental health.

His birthday would have been 26th of February, this is their first birthday without him.

As a gift to the family, we are raising money for the black dog institute to spread awareness and hopefully make more men feel safe to speak out when they are not okay.

In Jewish culture there is a Hebrew word Khai. It means Life. Each Hebrew letter of the alphabet has a numerical value. The 2 letters of Khai add to 18. It’s custom to give $18 or multiples of 18. May this donation in Sean’s memory bring Khai/Life to many.
