Our story:
WP Connect first came about in 2016, beginning as The Hope Challenge, after a friend in our community lost their battle with mental health. While a shared loss initially brought a bunch of mates together, many shared our experience and felt the same drive to do something more about it.
WP Connect hosts various events including The Hope Challenge and an annual golf tournament in hopes of raising awareness of mental health within the community. As of 2023 it has raised over $100,000 in donations to BDI; a proud result from a small community.
Black Dog invests in research, education, clinical services and digital tools to discover new solutions and create genuine change.
So join us to rally behind Black Dog Institute and be a part of the change we all want and so desperately need to see.
