Help me create a mentally healthier world

I'm standing up to join Team Black Dog to turn ground breaking research into life saving action.

Mental illness affects 1 in 5 Australians every year, with the most common being depression and anxiety. Mental illness doesn’t discriminate. It affects people from all walks of life — individuals, families, workplaces and communities.

Thursday 6th May
Mental Health is a dark and often unforgiving place. In efforts to raise awareness about mental health and the impact it can have on our loved ones and society, this year, the Mollymook Surf Club have generously decided to support the Black Dog Institute by making their annual ocean swim a charity event.

Over the past two years our small but strong community has endured some considerably rough times, through devastating bushfires and the uncertainty Covid19 has brought along with it and with Mental health stretching far beyond our community this is a great place to start, lets do our bit! People out there are struggling!  Who knows all it may take is asking a mate
'hey, feel like coming to do this swim with me?'

Get behind our little event 'The Mollymook Surf Club Charity Ocean Swim'
whether it be swimming (jump online to register through oceanswims.com then coming down to swim)
coming along to the afternoon of Entertainment on the lawn in front of the Surf club, or if you can't make it, donating a few dollars to a good cause.
cheers.
