Help me make it meaningful
Mental illness doesn’t discriminate – it affects 1 in 5 Australians every year with symptoms like depression and anxiety. The impact can be devastating, not only for those living with it, but for those around them.
That’s why I’m getting active and raising funds for the Black Dog Institute - to support crucial mental health research and support services that help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.
Help me create a meaningful moment for mental health as I work up a sweat, all for a great cause.
Please donate now. Thank you.

My story and why
Thursday 10th Apr In March of 2020 I lost someone very dear to me to suicide. It was sudden and all-consuming. An overwhelming feeling of loss and heartbreak lingered over me for years, going through a constant loop of what ifs and what could have been. I still carry deep hurt to this day, but nothing compares to the pain he felt. The mental battles he faced for years leading up to taking his life are unimaginable and nobody deserves to feel the way he did, that leaving this world was the only option or saving grace.Through my own struggles after this, I found Black Dog Institute. They connected me with services that helped me cope with this loss and channel my energy into other avenues.
This year we faced the 5 year anniversary of losing Kyle, and it hit me all over again. Time has gone so quickly and I want to honour him and give back to a cause I believe in so deeply.
Join me as I walk/run/swim/ride 160kms over 6 weeks. All donations big and small are welcome and deeply appreciated. All proceeds go to helping people fight their battles with mental health Share
