Black Dog Institute is the only medical research institute in Australia to investigate mental health across the lifespan. Their aim is to create a mentally healthier world for everyone.

Wednesday 23rd SepThe Great Australian Pub Crawl is a six month journey around Australia, visiting pubs and regional communities with the goal of bringing people together, starting conversations around mental health, and reminding Australians that no one has to go through the tough stuff alone.
This cause is especially close to home for me. I previously worked in mining with a mate named Phil, who tragically took his own life. Losing someone I knew personally made the reality of suicide and mental health struggles hit very differently, particularly within industries and communities where people can often feel like they need to keep things to themselves.
Through the Pub Crawl, I want to use my platform to help break down that stigma in a genuine and approachable way. The message behind the trip is simple "No one is alone, everyones a winner. This is where mates win"
By travelling through pubs and communities across Australia, raising funds for Black Dog Institute and creating content along the way, I hope we can encourage more conversations, remind people to check in on their mates, and show that asking for help is something worth backing.
