Help me make it meaningful
Mental illness affects 1 in 5 Australians each year, causing profound challenges like depression and anxiety that ripple out and touch everyone around them. The emotional toll can be overwhelming, not just for those living with mental health issues but for their families and friends as well.
Having faced these challenges myself and supporting friends and family who are struggling, I understand the importance of raising awareness and support. To contribute to this cause, I'm starting this fundraising campaign for the Black Dog Institute.
To make a day out of it, on the 16th of November I will be giving my mop hairstyle a buzzcut! With all my left over hair, ill be donating it to KidsWithCancer.org.au. to give someone in need a sweet new wig. Lastly, to really stick out, directly post-shave I will be bleaching my hair.
Every contribution will directly support essential mental health research and provide crucial services for Australians affected by mental illness and suicide. Your support can make a real difference, helping to fund the resources that can change lives and foster understanding.
