Help me make it meaningful
Mental health holds an important place in my heart, and affects 1 in every 5 Australians.
Sadly late last year, I faced an unimaginable heartbreak from a long battle with mental health, I lost my beloved dad. His struggle and all my love for him has shaped my perspective on life and the importance of mental health, which is why I will be fundraising for the black dog institute.
Tomorrow is the start of Men’s mental health week and the first day of my fundraiser where I will be running daily for the month of June.
I am opening the invitation to anyone in the community every Sunday - Tuesday 7am at Terrigal surf club for the rest of the month. I am not a runner by any means, but I’m here to have a go for my dad and anyone struggling with mental health and suicide ideation, it’s a real problem in our society, so any donation is greatly appreciated to help someone who is struggling.
Much love, Lysh x
