Help me make it meaningful

G'day everyone, CJ again.

I'm having another crack at doing a bit of fund-raising for mental health awareness and would be love for your help to make my target by April 30th this year.

I'm aiming to raise $1000 bucks this year, a step up from last time, but this time I'm gonna do it different:

-$500 tp cut the mullet off back to the mohawk.

-$750 and ill go for the old buzz cut.

-$1000, and ill go the full towball treatment and shave the whole thing off.

Mental illness doesn’t discriminate – it affects 1 in 5 Australians every year with symptoms like depression and anxiety. The impact can be devastating, not only for those living with it, but for those around them.

That’s why I’m making a change with a brand new lid and raising funds for the Black Dog Institute. Every dollar raised will support crucial mental health research and support services that help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.

So please share around and help me create a great and funny moment for mental health when I go the chop my luscious mullet off. If you can't donate anything that's fine, just do the favour and reach out to that mate who has been quiet lately or not themselves. It ain't week to speak and there's plenty of love and support out there.

You absolute champions. A massive thank you for all your support and donations this past month, together we made just over the target of a thousand bucks, all going to a great cause and also to get rid of my luscious mullet. Your help along the way has been fantastic and greatly appreciated. So here's an update, gone for the tow ball treatment as promised. I kinda like it to be honest haha. Thanks again for your efforts. Thank you for the quick response yesterday, a couple of quick responses come through and we have officially made the 750 mark now thank to all your efforts and contributions. Cant thank you all enough. So, I'm now going in and getting the old army buzz cut, number 2 all over.
Thank you all so much.
We are closer to getting the tow ball treatment, less than 250 to go, together we can do it, let's dig deep and get across the line.

Please keep sharing around, and don't forget to have that yarn with those around, we are kicking the black dog square in the doot now.

As we draw closer to the end of the month, the majestic mullet is coming off on Sunday so stand by for a photo of the aftermath of new lid.
Thank you for everyone's contributions over the past few weeks, your help has been amazing also been good to hear from people who's reached out to others and had a yarn.
But, there's still a few days left to get the word out and about, so let's keep sharing around and dig deep and let's get this across the line and try go for the tow ball.

Half time, you beauty!

G'day legends.

We've made it to the halfway mark in April already, and together, halfway to making the target, all thanks to you awesome people. A massive thank you to everyone that's spared a few bucks and contributed, as well as everyone that's taken the time to share the fund raiser around and get the word out. You bloody legends.

Overnight, we made the $500 mark right on half time and we're still going strong. So looks like the luscious mullet if officially coming off end of the month, just need to see how far we can go and see if we can make the ultimate goal and go for the towball.

There's still some ground to cover, but please continue to share this around your work site, mates or whatever community group you maybe up able to help in anyway. Keep on having the yarns and catch ups with mates you haven't seen in a while, and lets kick the black dog square in the doot.

Almost half way there.

G'day crew,

Day 10 and a third of the way through the month, but mainly, almost at the half way mark of .asking the target.
A massive shout out and thank you to everyone that's donated to my fundraiser so far, and thank you to everyone that's shared it around too.
You're help and contributions are greatly appreciated and can't thank you enough.

Looks like the mullets coming off regardless and gonna be a good laugh to see my rough lid with out it.

So thank you all again, and please continue to share around and get the word out around town, on site or just out and about with a mate. Keep having the yarns and checking in with you're friends and family, and little chat can make a world of difference.

Start of the month

G'day crew, it's the start of the month and the official start for the mental health fundraiser to get rid of my luscious mullet at the end of April. I grew this bad boy out 18 months ago for the Black Dog Institute mullets for mental health fundraiser, and it's time to say goodbye to it.
