Our why
Mental health is an important part of our overall wellbeing, yet millions of people around the world struggle with mental health challenges every day. Globally, around 60,000 people die by suicide in a month, and almost 1.2 billion people live with a mental health condition.
Despite how widespread mental health issues are, many people do not receive the support they need due to barriers such as cost and lack of access to services. This can leave many individuals feeling isolated and understood during difficult times.
This is why Ann and I will be taking on the challenge of walking 60km each month. Every kilometre we walk and every 10 dollars we raise will represent 1,000 of the precious lives lost to suicide in a month around the world.
Our fundraiser aims to raise both awareness and funds to support mental health initiatives, resources, and services. By contributing, you are helping to create a future where everyone has the access to the support they need and feels comfortable seeking help without fear of judgement. Every donation, big or small, makes a meaningful difference.
Join us in making a positive impact - because every mind matters!! 🤍
