Help Matt from Fitstop Samford make it meaningful
Mental illness doesn’t discriminate. It affects one in five Australians every year, with symptoms such as depression and anxiety. The impact can be devastating, not only for those experiencing it, but also for their families, friends, and communities.
Christmas in the Village is a community event being held in Samford Village on Saturday, 6 December.
As part of the festivities, McGrath Samford will be hosting free face painting, a “Win a Real Christmas Tree” giveaway, and a Charity Dunk Tank. Each local legend will take a 45-minute turn in the dunk seat, and for every dunk, McGrath Samford will donate $50 to their chosen charity.
Matt from Fitstop Samford has nominated the Black Dog Institute as his chosen charity, helping to raise awareness and funds for vital mental health research and support services that make a real difference to Australians affected by mental illness and suicide.
