Let's shine some light on the Silent Dark
I lost an old & dear friend to suicide recently,
...and two young teenagers in my hometown.
The events precipitated the creation of this song... 'In the Silent Dark'

It might not be a nice subject to discuss however it's a major silent killer in our society, so we need to talk about it. Suicide is the number 1 cause of death for people aged between 15-44 in Australia.
Let that sink in for a moment... number one cause of death.
Let's reduce that terrible statistic.
Mental illness doesn’t discriminate – it affects 1 in 5 Australians every year with symptoms like depression and anxiety. There will be someone you know. The impact can be crushing & devastating, not only for those living with it, but for family, friends & those around them.
It doesn't have to be that way. Life is way too precious.
That’s why I’m raising funds for the Black Dog Institute, to support crucial mental health research and support services that help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.
