Mental Health Awareness - Fundraiser

Help me make it meaningful

For many of us, the topic of mental health is one that is usually swept under the rug, frowned upon and for the most part, a subject that is overlooked by many people. But it's the neglecting and lack of acknowledgement that creates the bigger problem. 

1 in 5 Australians are recorded to have suffered a mental illness in their lives, a statistic that is very alarming and without action, the sample space can decrease and people who suffer mental illness can climb even higher.

Mental health plays a massive chunk in our lives, wherever it's ourselves or a person you love or know. 

Unfortunately in most cases, many of us are left unaware the power mental health has and before various people struggles are acknowledged, it's too late.

Which is why this fundraiser, can be an indication of a light at the end of a seemingly never ending tunnel.

Last month as some of us may know, was Men's Mental Month, and in light of this, I am pleased to announce that we are launching a monumental week for our store -  'Mental Health Awareness Week'. 

This week provides an incredible opportunity for all of us to take a leap into either a known or unknown world in our minds, which is our mental health of course. Although last month may've been subjectively shedding light on mens mental health, this week includes everyone, because at the end of the day, each one of our mental health matters the most.

This fundraiser will help the Black Dog Institute further help push their overall mission of improving mental health. With that being said, every dollar that is donated to this cause could help people finally embrace their mental health and ultimately could help save a life.
