Help Jayke and Chad create a mentally healthier world
We have both decided to try and do our little bit to help in the fight against the invisible monster that is mental illness.
Come April 13, we've decided we will walk 40km from Bundeena to Scarborough (just south of Sydney), mostly through the Royal National Park. We'll complete the walk over 2 days, camping halfway and finishing at the Scarborough Hotel.
Neither of us have ever attempted a walk this far, let alone with a backpack full of camping gear, so we thought it would be a suitable venture to help raise awareness and (hopefully) a little bit of money for the good fight.
So we're standing up to join Team Black Dog to turn ground breaking research into life saving action.
Mental illness affects 1 in 5 Australians every year, with the most common being depression and anxiety. Mental illness doesn’t discriminate. It affects people from all walks of life — individuals, families, workplaces and communities.

Well done Jayke! Xx
