Jims' Journey for Mental Health
I'm standing up to join Team Black Dog to turn ground breaking research into life saving action.
Mental illness affects 1 in 5 Australians every year, with the most common being depression and anxiety. Mental illness doesn’t discriminate. It affects people from all walks of life — individuals, families, workplaces and communities.
On the 25th of August I will be setting off on my 500km journey around the Yorke Peninsula in South Australia aiming to set the FKT (fastest know time) for this particular trail and raise money and awareness for the Black Dog Institute and their fight against mental health illness while doing so.
