Many many good memories. A great guy & valued friend.

Kenny was such a warm and generous soul and im so grateful to have little trinkets all around me that remind me of him and his special role in our malcolm family. I always chuckle when I think about the crystal box he made me and the special charging crystal drink bottle he got me one year, telling me it was all rubbish but supporting it anyway. Thinking of you daily Kenny and how lucky we all were to know such a wonderful human.

Farewell Kenny It’s so hard to find the words… I’m heartbroken. Kenny, you were truly one of a kind—the kindest, most generous soul, and incredibly talented in your craft. We shared so many great times working together at Witchery. Your laughter, stories, and passion made every day memorable. You were a true team player. And I’ll never forget your love for haggis and black pudding—I use to cringe every time . In your memory I will now try it out. You also got me to move over from a blackberry that I loved so much and still miss till this day to an iPhone. You were like the ambassador for the apps. You brought warmth and light to everyone around you, and your absence leaves such a heavy space. You will be so deeply missed, by so many. Rest easy, Kenny

Calder your friendship with Daniel connected our families and together we shared some great times. Perhaps the boating at Shallow Inlet Sandy Point was more memorable for Kenny as he disguised broken ribs while pushing the boat out. We spent many Friday nights at Heritage with Wendy and Kenny and it brought an extended friendship group together. The memories being shared by others encompasses the gentleness and caring nature of your dad and these qualities are those you too display in your role as a teacher. So ‘peas in a pod’ not only physically but in your characters. Our thoughts are with you, Wendy and Lana. The Coulsons

You can pack a lot of cherished memories into 17 years. Having wonderful neighbours. Holidays to QLD & Cape Patterson. Tests at the MCG. Supporting Carlton in the AFL. Wood fire pizzas. Sunday session singing & playing to the best of our abilities. Going to gigs watching live music. Playing tennis at VTC. Taking the wives to the Ice Bar for Valentines Day. Your famous walk home from the city after a big night with Dr Paul. Milestone birthdays with our families. Findings someone to dress up with. Having you as a mate. So many happy memories of a childhood spent in the Wallace’s home both in Cheviot Road & Longcroft Crescent. Growing up with my childhood best friend Lesley, and being a part of all the capers (and there were many!) with Kerry, Sandra & Kenneth. I truly Ioved every moment spent with the Wallace gang. Kenneth, you were always a gentle soul and you will be sadly missed by all whose lives you touched.

Kenny was a truly wonderful friend and we shared so many fabulous times together in the past 16 years . Our wonderful memories include our trip to NZ in 2019. Kennys pace up and over The challenging Tongariro Crossing was extraodinary! He waited patiently for Allison ! He was often the life of the party but most comfortable with a guitar in hand , including in NZ and on the beach at Sandy Point where we could hear his music while we paddled the kayak and SUPs . He made so many beautiful pieces of woodwork for us and our children . Ryans beautiful guitar stand , Kates lovely box for her crystals and hanging love hearts ! Our family Lazy Susan ! He had such a positive and loving influence on both our children ❤️ Kenny was very patient helping Rowan to build our deck in 2010 which has dhared many a BBQ , drink and Malcolm / Wallace Xmas Eves on !! We know he suffered and we know he tried his utmost to improve his mental health. Calder this is a wonderful gesture for your beautiful Dad who was such a special man ! Where do I start Kenny my cousin who I was brought up with probably every school day in life .Kenny was me and Mark Whites apprentice in mischief and the stories I could tell are never ending.I could walk into the Wallace household any time of the day and treat it as my own .Kenny will be greatly missed by all and was a kind gentle human being whom my memories with I will never ever forget .RIP Kenny sleep tight my cuzz ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Beautiful words Calder. Kenny was a wonderful son to me. Always kind, willing & helpful. My memory was his BBQ skills in Hawick in the rain under an umbrella!! Then always in Oz with some wonderful food & compulsory cheese board. His last visit to Hawick for his Dad's 80th was very special, with his guitar strumming skills accompanying Brodie singing. Ma wee brother Kenny, canni believe you are gone... Ian & I are heartbroken at your passing, there are no words to explain the loss we now feel. The memories i have of our wonderful childhood in Hawick and all the shenanigans that we shared. But when we got married in Melbourne in 2009 with Dad & Mum there and you singing and playing your guitar at the Wedding was so special. You played & sung 'Caladonia' it was the perfect song on a perfect day In the Yarrow Valley. We were also so blessed to see you at Christmas & New Year and these recent memories are now so very precious. Your at peace now Kenny, love and long distance hugs to Wendy, Calder & Lana xxx

I loved visiting the Wallace house in my youth. I was always made so welcome. I have various memories but my funniest memory of Kenny was him ironing whilst singing Figaro in his best opera voice. Sending love to all the family xx

Such a heavy loss for the family, we all miss you so much already. I will remember my uncle especially for his creativity, he made us a beautiful big, hand crafted sign for our wedding, that i will always treasure. I hope you are at peace, and wherever you are, theres a guitar in your hand.

My heart is broken. I cannot believe my wee brother is gone. A Kind and sensitive and so talented man in everything he turned his hand to - Derek still working hard (occasionally) in the office Kenny built. May the happy memories of Kenny comfort you all. His skill of woodturning was magical, his (and Wendy’s!) pizzas extremely gourmet and his love of music a joy to be around. Theirs was always a lovely home in which to be entertained. It is so difficult to know the suffering that mental health causes. Well done Calder for the tribute to your Dad - beautiful words.

Kenny was always around when I was growing up, just one of my many cousins. He was usually getting up to some kind of mischief with my brother Michael, they were thick as thieves!! He was my most handsome cousin (although I wouldn’t say that to the rest of them) and so very talented with his singing, guitar playing and woodwork. The last time we met was up Hawick Moor a few years back and he had the same happy, smiley face that I remembered. It breaks my heart to think of how much he must have been suffering and also for Wendy, Calder and Lana who have lost such a loving husband and dad. RIP Kenny 💔. Sending love, Natalie and Brian xx

Kenny was a great guy I had the pleasure of working with , he was always so helpful with any project we had going. I will forever treasure the 3 tribute songs he did for me for my retirement, he will be very sadly missed . Condolences to Wendy , Lana and Calder

Will forever miss the afternoons spent on the deck with Kenny with the guitars out, often stretching late into the evening and keeping the neighbourhood awake. He was a kind and gentle man with a dry wit and a twinkle in his eye, and he instilled those same qualities in his children. He gave so much to those around him and continued to while fighting his fight, and he will be deeply missed. Love to you all <3

I have many memories of your dad, our friend. But it was his ability and vision of creating Art, weather it was a new kitchen, an amazing cheese fondue, ( out early years) or his wonderful precision sandwiches which had just the right amount of filling in every bite, his sandwiches were engineering masterpiece’s And it was always fun watching him “constructing” one. had many wonderful holidays together with him and your mum, to Bulgaria, France, the Lake District and had a wonderful time with you all in Phillip island when I visited. So many cherished memories, laughter, song and fun! he will be remembered fondly and missed always.

From the moment your mum and dad started dating we instantly had a close friendship, we had lots of late nights laughing and playing trivia pursuit, the losers had to make supper. We were thrilled when you all moved to Australia and the laughs continued. Your dad fought a long and hard battle and we will miss him very much.

Kenny really was a gentle, kind man. We have many fond memories of him strumming his guitar, treating us all to his legendary woodfired pizzas, making us laugh with his quick and clever sense of humour. Your dad could turn his hand to anything - we have beautiful chopping boards and other woodwork projects of his in our home. Kenny was a really lovely man and he adored you, Lana and of course Wendy. We will miss him and we are privileged to have him as a friend ❤️
