Help us make it meaningful
Mental illness doesn’t discriminate – it affects 1 in 5 Australians every year with symptoms like depression and anxiety. The impact can be devastating, not only for those living with it, but for those around them.
This is our biggest and most ambitious charity goal we've ever attempted at Milton and are raising funds for the black dog institute to support mental health services and research.
We have a goal to lift as a community 1 million kilos on Sunday the 8th of October across bench, squat and deadlifts and each lift will be 50kg to represent the 50% of people who will suffer from mental health in their life time. (That's 20,000 lifts for those counting at home).
Our community is so much more than just a place people come to exercise. We have made it a safe space for people to be themselves and give back an hour a day to their physical and mental wellbeing.
Please get involved & help us raise funds for this very important cause.
This event will run over a few hours, jump in the app to book & donate some reps to help us reach our goal.
