In loving memory of Nicholas Hollingsworth

We are inviting donations to the Black Dog Institute to support mental health research and suicide prevention.

Nick is a deeply loved husband, dad, son, brother and mate. His big heart, his laughter and the love he gave us will stay with us forever.

We hope that honouring his memory in this way will help bring hope to others and spare another family the heartbreak of losing someone they love.

Bipolar disorder can affect far more than mood. It can change how a person thinks, feels and sees the future. During overwhelming distress, some people experience a kind of mental tunnel vision that makes it difficult to see possibilities beyond the pain, even when help and love are close by.

We cannot know exactly what Nick was experiencing. But we know he was so much more than his hardest moments. He was loved, he gave love, and his life mattered.

By sharing his story and supporting mental health research and suicide prevention, we hope to help others find understanding, support and a way through.
