Help me make it meaningful
Mental illness doesn’t discriminate – it affects 1 in 5 Australians every year with symptoms like depression and anxiety. The impact can be devastating, not only for those living with it, but for those around them.
In October a dedicated team of Friends, Family and I will be walking 50km form Mt Thorley to Wollombi Tavern in honor of my late brother who was only 37 years young when he ended his life in 2019, in the last year we have had to say goodbye to another two close friends who also took their own lives due to the being caught by the curse of the Black Dog.
That’s why I’m signing up again for the One Foot Forward Campaign again for 2026, to raise funds for the Black Dog Institute. Every dollar raised will support crucial mental health research and support services that help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.
Last year we raised an incredible $10,000 thanks to many kind donations, so this year we have set a new goal of $15,000
Please dig deep and donate to help raise awareness for this underestimated disease that is leaving so many friends and family without answers, help us reach our goal for this year's 50k in a day.
Thank you.
