Hi all,
Next month in March, I'm taking on the challenge to run a half marathon in honour of my cousin Koko who tragically took his own life mid last year. Losing him was heartbreaking, and the impact of his loss is something our family feels every day and im sure many people can relate
Suicide is a devastating reality that affects far too many families, leaving a lasting impact not only on those who struggle with their mental health but also on the loved around them. Mental health is something we all need to talk about more openly, and I want to use this run as a way to raise awareness, start conversations, and most importantly, support those who need help.
Every step I take is for Koko. It's also for everyone battling mental health challenges and for those affected by it. If you’re able, please consider donating to suicide prevention efforts—your support can help provide life-saving resources, crisis intervention, and hope for those in need. Together, we can make a difference and remind people that they are never alone.
