In memory of a loved one

Mental illness doesn’t discriminate – it affects 1 in 5 Australians every year with symptoms like depression and anxiety. The impact can be devastating, not only for those living with it, but for those around them.

Black Dog Institute is the only medical research institute in Australia to investigate mental health across the lifespan. Their aim is to create a mentally healthier world for everyone.

Your gift will support crucial mental health research and support services that help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.

Thank you.

Chloe’s story

GLEBE PUBLIC SCHOOL
CORNER OF DERBY PLACE AND GLEBE PT. RD GLEBE 2037 SATURDAY 9TH MARCH | 10:00AM - 4:00PM

We lost our daughter, sister, cousin, and best friend Chloe to suicide at 29 years old, in November last year. Chloe was so loved and lived life to the fullest. Like so many others who suffer from depression Chloe was known to be funny, vibrant, and lit up a room. Chloe was compassionate and wanted to help others in need. Chloe donated a generous amount to charities such as the Children’s Hospital, cancer research, the homeless, and RSPCA.
Chloe had a car accident in 2019 and had multiple surgeries on her cervical spine over a period of four years. In a matter of four months, Chloe made a plan to end her life. Chloe had a team of medical professionals however this was not enough to save her. On 2/11/23 our lives were turned upside down. The pain was brutal, we all got a taste of what Chloe’s life had been like every day.
Driven by her deep desire to give to others, She began acquiring a collection of beautiful new gifts, From handmade accessories to clothes, bags, and much more. Chloe's Glebe market stall has been lovingly curated by her. Every purchase made will contribute to vital resources and initiatives aimed at raising awareness, providing support, and ultimately saving lives. Come along and buy something or donate so we can help fight depression, and change the stigma associated with mental health.
100% of the proceeds will be donated directly to the Black Dog Institute, a research organisation for mental health. Support suicide prevention by spreading the word and making a difference, one purchase at a time.
