Hello!
This year some friends and I were planning on participating in the SMH Half Marathon to raise money for Black Dog Institute, however it was sadly cancelled due to COVID.
Black Dog Institute is an incredible organisation that produces high quality mental health research which directly translates into clinical treatments, increasing access to mental health services and helping deliver long-term public health solutions. Their need for funding has only increased during the pandemic this year as mental health funding took a backseat.
After losing 2 beautiful people we love in 2019 to suicide, and witnessing the increasing statistics of mental illness during what's been a hard year for everyone, this cause could not be closer to our hearts. Any dollar donated will truly mean the world make a tangible difference in somebody's life.
