This old grey dog needs your help to keep the black dog at bay!
No one is immune to the impacts of mental illness - we all know someone severely affected by it. Some are born with it, some are thrust into life events which implicate them to a lifetime of struggling to live with it.
Dylan despite all his efforts otherwise, is about to make the milestone of 40yrs and for his birthday is proudly participating in the Bush Chook Postie Bike Adventure. This is sure to be 5 days of off-road, bone-rattling, hot, dusty, red dirt in every crevice of his body 'fun' on a machine designed for footpaths!
As part of the ride, each participant is to raise funds for the Black Dog Institute. Founded in 2002, they are internationally recognised as the pioneers in the identification, prevention and treatment of mental illness as a medical research institute providing increased accessibility to mental health services. Any amount you can spare would be greatly appreciated - every $10 could make a big difference to a mate in need.
