Walking About Talking


On November 30, we will be walking 50km "in silence" to raise awareness for just how difficult suffering mental illness can be without being able to reach out and speak to someone.

It’s impossible to truly understand what someone with mental illness is going through, but through Walking About Talking we hope to raise that level of understanding and reduce the impact of those issues on the community and our mates.


Why in silence?


Mental illness affects 1 in 5 Australians every year, with the most common being depression and anxiety. Mental illness doesn’t discriminate. It affects people from all walks of life — individuals, families, workplaces and communities.
